About Porkimon

What is Porkimon?

Porkidex PorkiCube

In the Porkimon universe, players of the game are designated as Porkimon Instructors, and have two general goals:

  1. To complete the Porkidex by collecting all of the available Porkimon species
  2. To train a team of powerful Porkimon to compete against teams owned by other Instructors, and eventually become the strongest Instructor: the Porkimon Sensei

An Instructor that encounters a wild Porkimon is able to capture that Porkimon by throwing a specially designed cuboid tool called a PorkiCube at it. If the Porkimon is unable to escape the confines of the PorkiCube, it is officially considered to be under the ownership of that Instructor. Afterwards, it will obey whatever its new master commands (unless the Instructor demonstrates such a lack of experience that the Porkimon would rather act on its own accord).

Instructors can send out any of their Porkimon to wage non-lethal battles against other Porkimon; if the opposing Porkimon is wild, the Instructor can capture that Porkimon with a PorkiCube, increasing his or her collection of creatures. Porkimon already owned by other Instructors cannot be captured, except under special circumstances.

If a Porkimon fully defeats an opponent in battle so that the opponent swoons (is knocked out), the winning Porkimon gains experience points and may level up. When levelling up, the Porkimon's battling aptitude statistics increase, such as Strength and Stamina. From time to time the Porkimon may also learn new Attacks, which can be used in battle.

Porkimon Classes

All Porkimon fall into one of 8 classes. These determine the characteristics of the Porkimon, and how effective certain attacks will be:
