What is Luge?

The Skyline Luge is a unique wheeled gravity ride that provides hours of fun for the whole family.

Riders navigate a purpose-built track on a three-wheeled cart, controlling their speed with a simple braking system. It's easy to learn, safe to ride, and exciting for all skill levels. The luge combines the thrill of speed with the beauty of stunning panoramic views as you wind down the mountainside.

Our luge experience begins with a scenic gondola ride to the top of Mount Ngongotaha, where you'll be given a safety briefing before starting your gravity-powered adventure down one of our specially designed tracks.
