Michael Jordan was born on the 17th of Febuary 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. Jordan was roughly 12 years old when he seriously started to play basketball, which his father introduced him to, and practicing with his brother. He would join his first team when he was 21 in 1984, the North Carolina Tarheels.
