Book I or Control's Book is the first evr book of THE MIMIC. The game released back in the year of 2021. The main protaginaist, Yasu Masashige endures the torment of Control/Kintoru/きんとうる. During the events of the fourth Chapter, Yasu manages to defeat Saigomo in Boss Battle and frees the souls of his parents.
BOOK II
" She fills me with jealousy " 嫉妬
The second installment of The Mimic is called Jealousy. This book is home to the oni name Eznukai/炎図界. Enzukai torements Isamu Uchiumi for duration of 4 chapters, his cause of death yet to be determined.
The Witch Trials
"Control was sent to the East, where she cannot feast."
"Jealousy was sent to the bottom of the sea, part of a forgotten legacy."
"Rage was trapped in His strongest cage, seething with wrath and counting his days."
"Rebirth was sent deep in the Earth, watching the world in reverse."
The Witch Trials is a prequel to the events of The Mimic Book I. The game mode is set in the Edo Period, which is thousands of years before the main events. The story follows Keiko Masashige, the mother of Yasu, as she navigates a cursed realm.
Jigoku
Jigoku is a game mode accessible via Control I. You must continue the chapter normally. However, after the gym, you must get into the bathroom where Aka Manto will be waiting for your arrival(He is not guaranteed to be there). Once you have made it into Jigoku, you must collect 35 orbs whilst evading Shinigami.
Hiachi's Request
Hiachi's Request was a mini-event within Jigoku. After speaking with Corrupted Hiachi, you must finish Jigoku as normal. However, once you collect the 35 orbs, Shiniachi will spawn. You must then collect 13 orbs whilst evading Shinigami and Shiniachi. Once you have done so, proceed to try and take Shiniachi's necklace and return it to Corrupted Hiachi and free her soul. Note that this event was only available in Halloween 2021 and 2023.
Halloween Trials
The Halloween Trials is a Halloween-themed event in The Mimic. The trials are similar to the rest. Complete different puzzles to complete the game. You must collect and burn all the apples whilst evading Nagemi. In the second section, you must keep a certain number of candles lit for around 2-3 minutes. However, you must evade Taiyo whilst doing so. In the final part, you must collect a variety of items to create a potion to throw at Kabocha’s minions. Fail to do this and you will lose 1 of your 3 lives.
Nightmare Circus
Nightmare Circus is a special Halloween event in The Mimic. The gamemode is filled with twisted dolls and attractions, and deviates from the main events. You find yourself trapped in a twisted, nightmarish Circus. The goal is to escape by completing various puzzles. You must twist all the dolls to move onto the circus. You must complete a card game to be teleported to the final part. You must kill the circus master by stabbing his arm every time it drops to the floor. You then receive a lantern for your hard work.
Christmas Trials
The Christmas trial is a Christmas-themed game set in the holiday season. A unique lantern is obtainable every holiday season. Your goal is to restore Santa’s sleigh by freeing the elf and collecting all of the toys to restore Christmas. In your endeavor, you encounter an entity known as Krampus. He roams the hallways of his holiday house, trying to find you and your friends.
