Summary

Luke Skywalker lives with his aunt and uncle on a farm on Tatooine. Desperate to leave the planet and attend the Academy like his friends, he is held back by his uncle’s need for help with the harvest. Meanwhile, an evil Emperor has taken over the galaxy and built a powerful weapon called the Death Star, capable of destroying entire planets. Princess Leia, a leader in the resistance, obtains the Death Star plans and hides them in the droid R2-D2, sending him to find Obi-Wan Kenobi. R2-D2, accompanied by his fellow droid C-3PO, ends up on the Skywalkers' farm. When R2-D2 wanders into the desert, Luke follows and eventually finds Obi-Wan. Together with the droids, will Luke and Obi-Wan be able to destroy the Death Star, or will the Emperor's rule remain unchallenged forever?
