In April of 2024 I started by YouTube channel KfactRad.
I started making meditation content as a faceless YouTube channel. Although after a while, I started to realise that this is not very enjoyable. That's when I made the decision to start making random videos that have nothing to do with meditation and just anything I felt that would get lots of views.
Of course, none of these videos ever got more than 1,000 views. That;s when I started to realise that I would never get anywhere without making proper longform videos. I started off by making entertainment/challenge videos and again that I thought would pull off with lots of views, I would post. Although the history repeated itself and still I was not breaking the 1,000 view barrier. I thought I had a lack of knowledge for making vidoes and it turns out I am right. The problem was that I did not know much about what people are interested in and what makes an interesting video. I started studying videos and watching many videos about top YouTubers talking about how to make a good video and it started to make sense. After a lot more grinding, editing, posting all sorts of shorts and a few longform videos, I managed to break 1,000 views. And not long after that, 5,000 views. But being honest, this wasn't all original content, and most of it were memes or clips of other channels. I created original content and worked a lot more on longform videos along with the ocasional short video. And not long after, I managed to get a short that got 500,000 views. And of course that was amazing but it also brought a lot more views to my longform videos.
