The One NZ Warriors where introduced into the NRL back in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors. In 2002 the Warriors had their best season to date, coming first and winning the Minor Premiership. Excitingly they featured in their first ever Grand Final. Unfortunately the Warriors couldn't get the job done and they ended up losing to the Sydney Roosters
