The Sport that Rules The World

Formula 1 is a sport that only happens 24 times a year, keeps fans at the edge of their seats, and makes the biggest cities like Abu Dhabi, Las Vegas, Madrid and Singapore stop and watch the fastest vehicles on Earth compete for a chance to win the limelight. Formula 1 (also known as Formula One, or F1) is a sport that involves many people to preform. These tasks required to create a Formula 1 car include designing, planning, troubleshooting, testing, creating, testing again, endurance testing, and even more testing in order to create some of the worlds fastest cars. These cars are put head-to-head in the one of the worlds most dangerous and fastest sports in the world. These cars are driven by the worlds best drivers, such as Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton & Sebastion Vettel. Formula 1 is split into teams, currently there are 10 with 1 new team upcoming. These teams fight for a championship known as the team constructors championship. These drivers in these teams are split into individuals and compete for the World Champion Title. Drivers earn points for these championships by placing above 11th place in races. Points are distributed between places like this in order, such as the following:

If drivers finish the race and are placed above 10th place, they will not recieve points for themselves or the team they drive for. Drivers take these points for the individual constructors championship and the team constructors championship. Currently (2/08/2024) Redbull is in 1st place for the team constructors championships, and Max Verstappen (3x World Champion) is in 1st place for the Individuals constructors championships.
